Happy Monday!!!

Back from working my festival today and not going to another one for ages…… (Thursday).

Feel much better now I have actually earned some money in August and been away to 2 places but spent £0.00 doing it. College is back for DS4, and I have a ridiculous amount of work packed in to next month so can chill out and stop checking my phone (for possible future work) every 5 minutes.

Some of you will remember I had problems with Invisible Work Friend who then got vere vere drunk and a bit handsy last year, well they have started making snippy, nasty, snide comments about whatever I am doing when I post up pictures of where I am. I think they might well have a drink problem as it only seems to come out after 5pm and weekends are vile. I am backing off from this one. August Revelation!

Ugh, DD2 dropped off an enormous amount of random stuff from a friend of hers who has been clearing a relative's house. I have just hauled it all up to the top of the house in boxes and will deal with it another day! Obviously I paid the friend for it - a bit over generous probably as I felt sorry for her. I will never make a fortune at this lark lol, but it is really just something fun to do now I have retired from my proper job. Fun being freezing mornings at fairs, dragging boxes of random tat up 2 flights of stairs and dealing with awkward / weird customers during my shop work days 🤣

Also bought a couple of mirrors from a boot sale this morning, which also had to be hauled upstairs. I wasn't going to go, but GD begged me to take her. OH and DD2 ended up coming too. DD2 bought some bits for her new classroom. She starts her new teaching job tomorrow, and is a bit nervous. She had worked at her previous job for 20 years.

Fun day for me tomorrow, as I have the GCs all day, and then have to go to the dentist at 5.30pm. I also need to fit in the shopping, plus I have a parcel to post 🤔 That reminds me, I haven't wrapped it up yet.
