That's my local Wells Fargo branch when in Florida.
Although, I mostly use the local Wawa as it has fuel, nice coffee and a surcharge free ATM.
The OP was very likely AI as it's unlikely a human would confuse UK and US banks unless operating in both markets.

The usual advice about not being left without a useable credit card if things go wrong is to get a second credit card. That way a molehill remains a molehill and doesn't grow into a mountain. Lots of problems have a simple work around that you can do yourself - much better than relying on others, particularly organisations with chat bots!
