Order from Porsche for accessories

In which case, I've changed my view. It does seem unreasonable that it allowed you to enter your full address but then deleted it after you'd confirmed and paid.
However, that doesn't change my advice. I still think you'll have to wait for the undelivered items to be returned to the retailer to get your refund. They need evidence they haven't been delivered.

It's possible they didn't include the apartment name/number on the confirmation screen but it could be on the label. I would have expected you to see your house in the list though if it's on the PAF.
If it's royal mail postie may know which house by name anyway.

Can you simply buy the mats from a Porsche dealer, even if you have to order them and wait for delivery to the dealer's premises?

My address is correct on the Council register. Our local postie knows where we live but unfortunately the parcel is being delivered by DHL and is coming from Germany I think.

The old postcode look up, which typically is based on the PAF file seems to be a dying breed outside of financial institutes but then the prices were crazy if you buy direct and is oddly based on the size of your company… was over £150,000 a year in licence fees for the PAF file for a previous client.
These days more seem to be using the "start typing your address" with a predictive results being presented in realtime as you type often using Google Place Autocomplete. The problems are often not that the db cannot handle the address generated but that the person selects the wrong address in the first place and doesnt spot itThe problem if address -v- db is real though but officially the PAF file has:
- Organisation Name: Company or business name.
- PO Box: Post Office box number.
- Sub-Building Name: Flat, apartment, unit, or suite number/name.
- Building Name: House or building name.
- Building Number: Numeric house or street number.
- Dependent Thoroughfare: An extra street indicator, such as a side road or courtyard within a larger street.
- Thoroughfare: The primary street, road, or avenue name.
- Double Dependent Locality: A smaller area, often a village or housing estate within a larger dependent locality.
- Dependent Locality: An area, district, or village within a larger post town.
- Post Town: The major postal delivery town (Mandatory).
- Postcode: The outward and inward postal code (Mandatory)
I dont know many who create 11 fields for an address

I don't know many who create 11 fields for an address
Me neither, and the poster mentioned the order was from Germany. I'm not aware of any international addressing standard which would cope with multi-country addressing formats - but others may be better informed.

There is an ISO Standard for international postal addressing (as there is for most things) but it's not simple and it's a commercial publication so not easily browsed.

UPDATE: After placing our initial order on 27th July and sending numerous emails regarding the fact that we have not received our order, today we had an email from Porsche saying they had refunded us for the items. No explanation as to why or even an apology. Rubbish customer service from such a high profile company.
