Sounds like your phone unfortunately, I find Santander often takes the longest, I did a quick test on a manual count and Kroo and Natwest opened to biometric at the same time, Lloyds and Santander today were quicker

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I have a great many banking apps on the same phone and they all work instantaneously without any issues - apart from Kroo. I would be more inclined to point the finger at Kroo. Have you read the many reviews on Google Play which complain about how slow the app is? Would you say the problem is with all their phones? Which phone do you use with Kroo?

I use a Google Pixel 9 Pro XL.
Kroo app loads marginally slower than some others, but not to the 30s experienced by you.

So it's clearly not the phone. Thank you.

I use a Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and it's not slow.

Plenty of people vent on google reviews even if it's one-time issue and exaggerate. Your experience and my (and others) experiences vary therefore it is logical that you cannot state it is Kroo. I have a Pixel Pro, it does not take 30 seconds to load the app.
