Hey i was being light hearted - but its not always stupidity - I have a form of ADHD and my friends cant work out how im a Travel Agent - i find travelling and airports very tough - I constantly panic about having my tickets on me etc etc - im sat here right now creating an itinerary to go to see a Matinee show in London on Saturday - train tickets bought and in Apple Wallet - British Museum items and locations noted, N Gallery items and locations noted - but I boiught the threatre tickets via Twickets and they are ATG Ticketys - ive printed them but i literally cant work out hopw to also get them in my Apple Wallet - I have an IQ of 118 - i click on download ticket 1 and it goes to some folder - but what about ticket 2 - at this point if i needed an eticket id have a melt down - Ive told my friend we have paper tickets and thatll have to do

So yes I agree - some peoplke are as thick as a scaffolders plank - but also go easy on some of us who are bright but really struggle with certain aspects - nd look letrs go back to keeping it light - I know you werent having a go and yes - its pretty much al laid out for you what to do and where to go - and some people just are a bit dim lol x

Let's keep this thread on topic - after your anecdote about some of your clients took it off topic.

I hope the OP comes back onto the thread so you can explain how TUI occupancy works.

oops sorry - i do like an anecdote

TBH i hate to say this but in 4 or 5 years i havent seen a TUI package that shows the under occupancy as a supplement - they just give the price - eg £439pp - no breakdown unles the customer upgraded to a more expensive room than the lead in room and i think thats what happened here - if thats the case then im sorry its on him as a cheaper room would have shown - sometimes you have to click on "show more rooms" as the cheapest room may be in there - thats a glitch but it happens maybe 1% of the time - thats what i think happened - but he was happy with the price and booked - end of story for him im afraid

A few years back, I read about an airport which was receiving a lot of complaints about baggage delays but, statistically, had of the quickest times for baggage getting from plane to belt.

The complaints were identified to be a mismatch as the passenger route was also very quick so passengers arrived at the belt well ahead of the baggage.

The solution was a reconfiguration of the passenger route so you had to walk further and therefore the baggage beat you to the belt and waiting eliminated.

    Complaints avoided

I remember years ago getting a 'free child place' and then being charged under occupancy on a room, so it is all cloak and daggers. Find a holiday you like at a price you are willing to pay.
