At breaking point

Almost 2 months on, I am starting to receive threats of defaults but haven't received any defaults yet.
I have today received a default notice from Aqua, giving me 14 days to pay my account balance in full before they write to me again to terminate my credit agreement. Does this mean I'm close to my first default?
I've also started to realise the thought of checking my credit report spikes my anxiety, so I need to face that head on at some point!

A default notice is an official looking document, and is sent under sec 87(1) CCA.
It will require you to remedy the breach to your terms and conditions within 14 days, if you fail to do so it will go on to list possible repercussions of non payment, including the addition of a default on your credit file, debt passed to a collection agency, or possible legal action to recover the balance.
