HELP UKCPS/Trace Debt
Hi,
My husband parked on street, and got a parking charge from UKCPS. Apparently you couldn’t park there as it’s private land which he didn’t know. I appealed using the template and it got rejected. However I didn’t realise they aren’t part of BPA and so cannot appeal at POPLA. They sent another letter for the same location, different date but this was apparently a SECOND letter. We never received the first one for this date. This letter had no image evidence at all. Couldn’t appeal as the date had passed by the time it came. So all in all two charges.
now it’s gone to Trace debt recovery. Husband wants to pay. What’s the process here for non BPA, they are part of IPC.
Friend pointed out the letter isn’t poFa compliant and is urging us to send appeal letter via post now as the deadline for appealing online has passed.
please advise, would really appreciate it.

"reached out" another awful American term
- register here , tell them to remove XX number and replace it with some made up number in the "request a service section"
other then that dont engage

Tell him not to answer their calls and block the number.
If you haven't already read the NEWBIES Announcement thread (top of page 1) you should, particularly POST 4 - Debt Letters and POST 2 - Small Claim.
There's also a link in there somewhere to Coupon-mad's thread-of-pictures-of-parking-firm-ntks you'll be able to compare the wording on your pcn to see if it's POFA or non-POFA.

register where?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

Block them.
I really hope he hasn't paid either of them?
There is no impartial appeal but there is no bailiff or CCJ risk and pretty much everyone wins in court or sees their case discontinued in the end.
Defending is easier than appeal.
Show us pics of both PCNs with your data and all refs and your VRM redacted. Back page too, please.
And show us where the street is on GSV.
