Morning all xx

I'm up, made my bed, taken my new meds, completed the nyt puzzles, turned over the calendars, taken my old meds, got dressed, fed the birds, and I'm supping my second brew.

SandyShores - it's an imaginary trip up north not a real one. I have these flights of fancy and my flylady friends indulge me and add their own embellishments. Usually cake is included 😋. One year we needed a bigger bus as we had children and goats travelling with us. 🥰

I really must write that to do list before I forget something important. I also plan to

Morning all. I know it's gone 12 but for me it's morning until I have had my dinner. Quiche and salad today.

I dustpanned all through downstairs this morning. I wanted to clean up while it was cool but my neighbours were still asleep so I didn't want to put the vacuum on. I dusted and polished in the living room first and washed the kitchen floor after. Just did a small washload and that's pegged out. It's a warm sunny day here with a bit of a breeze. We've got DD1's dog for two weeks so that's given me several very slow walks already. There are a lot of blades of grass that need sniffing and weeing on.

Just having snacky lunch. Today I have done dailies, work shift and a long walk with Poppet. Oh I also did shredding after being reminded by around. Hospital next then back to work

Hubster kindly sorted all the watering this morning along with picking in washing while I had a shower and washed my hair.. Just munched toast and we’ve decided to have a slow day and take ourselves off to the sea (there’s a car boot nearby today so may have a mooch there)

Morning all. Yesterday happened, and I seemed to be busy for most of the day, but I can't remember much of what I did apart from baking Genoise sponges for my latest godchild's christening celebration tomorrow. Today I must buy strawberries and cream for the filling and decoration, nom-nom.

Apart from doing a big shop, I don't think much else needs to be done today except a short walk for Rosie.

🐇🐇🐇 today would have been my mum’s birthday so DSis and I have remembered her this morning.
MadamMim, a day by the sea sounds like bliss. I still don’t quite understand how I have ended up living in a large landlocked county, miles from the coast.

Yesterday happened here too. I vaguely remember that I gave the spare / craft room a thorough clean after the curtain making activity of recent days. Obviously not such a thorough job as I thought as this morning there is a glorious collection of cobwebs in one corner, laughing at me. If cobwebs can laugh, of course. Today I am indulging myself in a lazy day. I am avoiding the allotment, I have oiled the sewing machine, and I have pulled out a sewing pattern that has been waiting for me to adjust and mock up for weeks. As a nod to flying, I have updated and tweaked the meal plan so the next few days are sorted.

Went out last night with me mates to a Mowgli - I drove - without the satnav cause I knew exactly where it was even though we were on the outskirts of the centre of steel city. Bill apropriately divided this morning and payments have been sent to me (one of us usually pays rather than asking the restaurant to split the bill.

WUALTD, cat pots left to soak. Must remember she is eating every bit of this food as opposed to leaving bits. Done some vol job stuff but the lappy has died and the lead is downstairs…I'm now on my mac. I'll have to move shortly - I have washing to peg out and the old hips are protesting at the prolonged sit for I have been playing games.

Evening. Two loads of washing done and dried today. Old worn out bedding washed and dried and put in the recycling crate. Just got to work on DH letting go of his bath towel. It's practically see through and has long frayed bits all along one edge. We have half a dozen perfectly good bath towels in the airing cupboard so we wouldn't even need to get a new one.

Spent the morning with DD2 helping her dismantle a large cabin style bed. We did pretty well though at one point I was holding up a side panel, she was supporting a shelf while she unscrewed something, and it was a third piece that took us both by surprise and came off first. Hit her on the neck and me on the hand but luckily I was the only one that bled everywhere. Thin skinned in old age. Could have been a lot worse. I had many many trips up and downstairs with pieces of bed but it's done now. I think they forget I'm 74. But I like to feel useful.

Other than that I've taken DD1's dog out three times and done all the meals and clearing away.

three weeks tomorrow I am having a stall on a crafters bazaar - where craft materials (SABLES) are offered for sale. It occurred to me that a 'mini scrapstore' might be better than just random items. Currently sorting buttons by colour as they might sell (eg for cards/xmas crafts) …

I'm up, taken my new meds, turned over the calendars, completed the nyt puzzles (only managed one line in Connections), taken my old meds, and I'm supping a brew.

Plan today is to complete the Saturdailies and the Sundailies. Yesterday's 8.30 am appointment at the hairdresser's threw my usual routine out of the window, so I abandoned it and read a book instead. I did finish the shredding though - two carrier bags of 'shreds' are now in the recycling bin, and the shredder is empty and ready for action.
