    yes please!

been to church, photographer has changed time from 1.30 to 4.30 which is a pain but actually means we can finish the packing first. OH will not be at the meeting though as he needs to get the train just before 5. I don;t really mind as he is not too well anyway. he has been ill on and off for about 11 weeks and is really fed up now. has a lot of sinus problems which is rubbish :(

    Hiya
I got woken this morning by our cat who smelt a bit odd. On closer inspection she has an abscess on her chin poor thing. She let me clean it up but it needs antibiotics so i'll have to take her to the vets in the morning.

We all been out for a long and windy walk with the dog which was lovely and i'm hoping to get the children on the trampoline later to wear them out a bit. DD is sleeping much better since we started trying to knacker them out!

I'm managed two washes and sorted out one lot of wet clothes. I'm going to spend the next hour fitting pads to the dining room chairs so they don't scratch the laminate flooring. The first lot I put on have all fallen off!

Hugs to poories and cheery waves to everyone.

Rach I think soappie's idea is good, or maybe a couple on each table at the most then a table with the wine on, if it's not just 'there in front of them' they might even use less. Sorry that seems tight of me but the other thing I hate is when people get too drunk on free wine etc at a wedding and end up spoiling it. Hugs for your DH too, sinus issues aren't nice.

LJD1 hugs for poorly kitty, bless her, hugs for your purse tomorrow too.

likklegibbon, not good, maybe just your bodies reaction to the bug, could be whatever you've taken to get better, medications good at causing rashes. Hope you feel better soon.

shell, stop feeling guilty right now! Firstly, kids parties are a nightmare usually of high sugar food and kids bickering, especially little girls ones. I remember as a child going to a lot of parties one year and I HATED it, I eventually was brave enough to tell my Mam I hated them so much and only went to a couple the next year. She'll not be the only one to miss them either. For the next ones maybe ask if it'd be ok to leave her in the care of the other parents/host parents there because of the childcare issues. The parties we did for my neice not one parent stayed.

AnWsMum hope you all have a fab time, if it wasn't too late I'd have suggested taking a towel to put on the seat under W, I used to need one as I spent most of my time on the floor :o

Hugs to everyone else and positive vibes for those with lots to do today.

Wondering if it's dog coat changing season, because Megan's

So far I've been lazy, sat here eating Haribos which I must put away because they are bad....even went back and laid on the bed with the boys for a while earlier, but it was nice. DP is away having fun today so thought I may aswell relax a bit with the boys. Need to fill the DW as the brekkie and lunch stuff is all over the benches. Dehumidifier must be working well as I emptied 1 litre of water from it this morning after only switching it on at 6pm!!!! No wonder it is getting damp and mouldy in there. Washing needs doing, I think 2 loads should cover it. I thought I'd done the uniforms but found a top in DS2s room, they only have 2 sets each of the 'official' stuff so need to keep up with it. I should do a list of some sorts really.

    Ok here goes

[strike] 2 wash loads, wash,[/strike] dry, put away second load in now
Put away the stuff I didn't put away over the week, naughty me
    [strike] S&S kitchen [/strike]
[strike] Tidy sitting room, which the kids have demolished again this morning
Tidy conservatory, kids have been playing in there too
20 minutes in each of the boys room (with their help hopefully) sorting some of it
Fill dishwasher, put on[/strike] and empty when done
[strike] S&S bathroom, clean loo as it's manky already [/strike]
Dinner - toad in hole (I got out the sausages now I can't find them )
[strike] Clean out number 2 fridge
Sort baking cupboard, as it keeps falling out on me
15 miuntes paperwork sorting (so I can clear a space for the paperwork filing thing )
    Pay 3 bills online
    Transfer money around between accounts
Vacuum through downstairs (living room, dining room, conservatory, utility and kitchen) [/strike]
    Freecycle stuff
    Reading with DS2
[STRIKE] Give the kids a bag before bedtime to clear everything of theirs away from downstairs(15 minutes, what is left gets binned!!) [/STRIKE]
Boys bath time, nails cut (oh that's fun) get stuff ready for in morning
Check freezers and do some sort of meal plan for next week
Find some dressings recipes to try
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

AnW's mum happy birthday to A. Great fun to spread it out, and may save you some cooking at some stage. Are you going to the Queen's road rink? I fell last time i went skating and had my arm out of action for a week, and that is why i do not bother to go anymore. I dare say we will take charlie and bump when they are bigger, but i will be more watching than helping them.

No we went to Ice Sheffield, next to the Arena had a great time thanks. And even better it only cost me £19.50 for 7 kids and 5 adults :j:T:j Said to the girl on the desk '7 kids, 5 adults, what's the best deal' 3 family tickets says she. OK here's the cash back ccard, when I was asked to put my pin in it said £19.50 (cost of one family ticket) I figured she didn't know how to do 3 all together but then she proceeded to print off 12 skate hire coupons. At this point she said 'oops I've only charged you one family ticket....... oh well here are the skate hire coupons' Wooohooooooooo

Not been to Queens Road for years Michelle, used to go every Saturday. Would catch the bus into town, wander round town, chips from that chippy above the bus station an then onto skates at 2pm. Then we'd catch the bus back home just after 5pm. Worked out cheaper to buy our own skates which I still have somewhere :o and if we go again I shall have to search them out as those hire ones are horrible. So you see hoarding is good :p

    Cor! Yes please Pigpen!

Ta for the extra hugs Shell and Tracyg, yes I'm quite relieved it's done and I've just realised today that subconsciously I'm doing things I haven't done for ages. I've read the paper in bed until noon -not read the weekend paper for months and I'm playing in the kitchen for the fun of it.
Got two lots of soup on the go and bean burgers lined up for after my cuppa. BM is on. After my last few disasterous loaves I've changed all the flour and bought new yeast but silly me has bought the non-breadmaker kind. I stuck it in anyhow..
MOAM, I got some of those adjuster straps in a proper old fashioned bra shop. I couldn't tell you how much they cost but they're all singing and dancing so I still get use of them.
LJD, poor cat. It stinks doesn't it? Last time Bob had bite abcess on his paw the vet gave me a little bottle of Hibiscrub to take home. I've been using a solution of it to keep his latest face abcess clean and it's done the trick touch wood. Maybe get hold of some 'cos a lot of 'human' antiseptics (TCP/dettol) are toxic to moggies. Of course if it needs antibiotics, it needs antibiotics.

Thanks Lil_me. I would not have felt happy her staying with the people there, I dont know them and she is only 3. I know I probably sound strange but what if this woman had family helping out and one of them took little un to the loo and stuff - just a huge can of worms, unfortunately a sign of the times. That is some list you have to work through.

Rach - at my cousins wedding they went the waiters serving the wine and providing top up route. Seemed quiet classey TBH plus like lil_me limits the amount some guzzlers could sup (I would be classed as a guzzler - he he he)
