    Reporting back from the HHC.
I cleaned the bathroom including the floor - that's put me out of whack for bathroom day but it really, really needed it.
Wet laundry rotation on the radiators and airer. Dry non-iron stuff put away.
    Dishes washed and dried.
Washed Bob's face with cotton wool and hot water - he had a fighters abcess last week and I'm trying to keep him from washing it himself with minging cat spit.

A lot can be done in half an hour when you know time's nearly up. maralum, well done on the 4 hour bedroom-athon and generating e-bay stuff. Sorry you couldn't join Pigpen, Juliejim and I this time. That must be scary, an 8 month old speaking in CAPITALS already, hee hee.

I don't know what to do with myself now. something that doesn't involve thinking, the paperwork can wait.
How did you 2 get on? I'm a slow poster so you've maybe already posted.

Didn't do as well as I liked with my HHC - DD came back from her swimming lesson in the middle of it and so I had to sort her out. However, I've emptied the WM and put the clothes out to dry and hoovered the LR including under all the furniture. I think I need a new hoover - it's just not picking up at all when I use the normal upright position and so I've done it all on my hands and knees using the attachments!

    LJD1 - I'm sure he'll get back for DS's birthday.

Maralum - can you not feed baby on one side and hoover withe the other hand?:rotfl: Only joking, it's hard work breastfeeding isn't it?

    LJD1 - fingers all crossed
rosh12 - you've done fantastically well! :j I didn't start nearly as well as that!
embb - absolutely no way should you go - unless you promise to let us know all about it!!:D (My OH was a blind date...)
poohbear - stay tucked up under the duvet. Make sure you have supplies of trashy novels, painkillers if necessary, and a hot water bottle. I should stay there until at least the weekend - the weather forecast isn't very encouraging.

I have managed to paint the rest of the walls, with some help from DD and despite interruptions with important phone calls, school runs...I even did the washing up, finally! DD and I went to look at curtain material, and although we saw lots that she liked, there were only two possibles for the bedroom, and I'm not totally sure about them. I love fabric, and usually go for one I just absolutely love, but there weren't any today that had that 'must must have it' effect.

There a few other shops I can look in tomorrow. There's only so long we can manage without curtains!

I don't think I'll be doing any Flying tomorrow either - at least it is bedroom day anyway! First thing I'll do the weekly shop, then do the second coat of paint.

    hello :D

i was good last night, and when i finshed doing stuff here, i wrote a letter about maternity leave for human resources, and a letter confirming my new part time contract (letter dated november - oops.) Then, we went to bed and decided to file away the big pile of paperwork on top of the filing cabinet, which took 5 minutes. So why i didn't do it sooner i don't know.

    Today we have:
    • taken plastic to be recycled
    • posted off my 2 letters to the LEA
    • had my new double buggy delivered
    • got my progress reports for y7 and y10 onto the computer
    • also got y9 exam data onto the computer, and
    • completed my behaviour reports from all the idiots from yesterday in lessons
    • taught 3 lessons
    • attended after school department meeting
    • brought charlie home, bathed him and played with him for an hour
    • made tuna pasta for dinner
    • packaged a computer game that sold on amazon
i need to double check a couple of things for tomorrows lessons, sort charlie an outfit for tomorrow for nursery, watch CSI, have a bath and then go to bed in pretty much that order.

There was enough leftover pasta for my lunch for tomorrow so that is sorted for me.

It's been fairly busy here again. LJD - i think quite a lot of flights cancelled at the minute. The guy i share my form with got a 28 hour delay on his flight from canada.

well done on fixing the hoovers. I must admit, i leave DH to it with ours, he was telling charlie the other day that i had not coiled the cable properly around it, so i think if he is that fussy about it, leave him to it. I also usually get him to empty it for me too. ;)

Anyway, not long till CSI so i think i had best get on, as i don't want to miss it.

    Michelle, x
