YUP…. Pics taken by a UKPC GOON

As said, the white lines are faded badly.

Mis management by UKPC who have failed to operate the car park, they just want to farm it for money

A judge would laugh this rubbish out of court

And YES, do what CM says, and send the pictures to the CMA. Maybe the CMA could ask the BPA when they last inspecked this car park

Those photos clearly show more than an inch outside the bay, so the thread title is misleading. The actual parking is lazy, careless, or inconsiderate, or all three.

Notwithstanding that, I'll leave it to others to advise how the claimed fee can be contested.

Not sticking up for ukpc who I loathe, but that sort of parking boils my urine, absolutely no consideration for anyone trying to get out of the car parking next to you, and it's definitely over the line by over an inch sorry.

Don't beat your self about not appealing, nothing would work you will just have to go along with the process to them discontinuing.

It's not great parking and not one for the CMA. However, she'll never have to pay.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

A lot more than an inch if you take the mirror into account as well.

As with others, not sticking up for the parking scammers, but parking outside a bay could have stopped someone using the next parking space.
However, from the pictures it looks like it's an end or edge space, in which case no harm done.

apologies all, the way I cropped the photo gives somewhat of a poor impression of the way the car park is arranged. It’s a single space, no obstruction, no space next to it. Just to note: I never said the parking was good (!), it’d win no prizes, but just offering the honest situation. Uncropped now. If you tell us it’s a fair cop then we can absolutely accept that - haven’t meant to cause anger!

What we DO NOT know is was a huge SUV parked in the next bay leaving no space to open a door or was no other space available

The fact is that bays are no longer suitable and not fit for purpose thus giving parking firms the chance to issue tickets

Regarding door mirrors, most fold inwards but for those that don't , maybe that will be a wheeze for rogue parking operators

Regardless. the, bays are too small and UKPC knw that which is Detrimental to the consumer and that is where the CMA comes in

There’s no adjacent bay for any vehicle - SUV or otherwise - to park next to it.
