As they have used a typical set of particulars and made no mention of a credit agreement I would personally defend as if nothing has previously happened ie. use the defence template, and deny any wrongdoing in paragraph 3, and say something like "particulars merely stating "in breach of T&Cs" is not sufficiently detailed in order to form a valid claim".

I would just play the discontinue game. Whoever has filed this has just taken the figure off the spreadsheet with no knowledge of any alleged agreement.

On the mediation phonecall either don't answer or give a brief "My offer is zero. Goodbye."

    Totally agree.

Then after it is over (discontinued) come back to discuss grounds to sue THEM (maybe Blaze and DCB Ltd, jointly) for the money back that would by then - due to the claim being discontinued - be fairly easy to plead that the payment was taken under false pretences and with no lawful basis.

This looks like you were wronged by DCB Ltd, if that's who you paid. They failed to tell the two parking firms or even DCB Legal that you'd paid some money already.

So did DCB Ltd keep it? That's how it looks!

Claim 1 : The claimant is "Blaze Parking management Ltd" , represented by DCB Legal.

Claim 2 : The claimant is "Highview Parking Ltd" , represented by DCB Legal.

Does the Highview one say they are t/a Group Nexus?

How much did you pay in each case? £56 of something?

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
