Old and new Orange/EE accounts

I have a very old Orange account that became EE at one address and a newer EE from BT at another.

EE have tremendous difficulty understanding this. I have used different email addresses for each account and can sign in to those as they could not be covered on one account log in. Talking to EE about the old account they always have to send me to a special team who seem to have great difficulty finding the details.

Recently I had notification and the leaflet about upgrading the old account to full digital. I have also had notification that equipment is on its way, however I have had no notifications of times/dates to do this. After long phone calls, EE have no information on the upgrade or when it might happen?

Has anyone else had problems with old Orange to EE accounts? They seem to have no problem taking the Direct Debit!

Just to be clear here.

You have 2 separate accounts for broadband service at two different properties? Both are with EE?

Is the upgrade moving your phone service to Digital Voice (so phone service over internet)?

Is your concern about the upgrade or the confusion over your two accounts?

It's either the switch to digital voice, in which case the "equipment" is a cable to plug the hosue phone into the existing hub (possibly a replacement hub depending on age) or perhaps they're upgrading to FTTP from ADSL or FTTC, in which case they'll need to put a box on the outside (CSU) with a new line to it and new box inside the house (ONT).

I'd hazard a guess it's the first one so it'll be done when it's done.
