Did anyone else find dealing with companies as an executor upsetting?

I went through probate for my late father last year and, alongside the actual admin, found the way some companies handled it genuinely upsetting. I was regularly addressed by his name, ‘extra care’ teams were nothing but and I was cheerily asked by an estate agent: ‘So who’s moving then?’ when they knew it was a probate…

Had no real problems when I was acting as an executor. If the executorship is straightforward, you rarely hear about it on this board
