Car hire CDW
We hired a car at Malaga. Took photos of the damage to the car before we took it. We didnt think we needed to pay their upselling insurance which was about 400 euros. On return there were two new "dings". We hadnt done anything and they werent on my photos so hadnt happened before hire. They have kept all of the excess CDW we paid on credit card, before they do a damage report etc. but told us to make a claim but we dont dont know who with!
Do we claim with our British Car insurance company? We were covered for Euro driving.
We were told we would get back what they dont charge for repairs!
They take advantage of you being tired on car pick up and try the hard sell. Also fobbed us off with a smaller car than we expected!

That 'hard sell' would probably have saved you money here. Do you have any insurance that covers hire cars? Otherwise you're going to have to pay for the damage out of your deposit...
