Decent ISA rate and customer service??
I am with 212 for cash isa and in the last 3 months Santander. I find the latter impossible to speak to. It's all automated and I've been trying for 3 days to speak to a human.
In regard to 212 I am trying to move out partial ISA money and they keep saying they have not received it(isa transfer request). I am at the point where I want to bin both providers. Is there any banks that have a normal level of service and a fair rate?

I've always had good service from Principality, and they used to offer good rates on a 5-access ISA. Rate isn't great at the moment but it's worth keeping an eye out for future offerings.
Also had good service from Skipton, no idea what rates they've got on offer at the moment.
With both of them it's been really easy to get through to a human when needed

Thanks. I have a mortgage with the Principality. I will take a nose.

Kent Reliance and Charter Savings Bank, both have good service levels and very helpful call centre customers service reps. Both banks offer decent instant access and fixed rate ISAs at present.

Always found Vida very good when I was with them. Easy to get through to a human on the end of the phone.

I was going to recommend Principality. I have their online bonus 5 access cash ISA Issue 7 paying 4.2% with a one year bonus and it is flexible and I am ok with the rate. I make one very large withdrawal at the end of the month to pay for RS`s which means that in a few months once my 5 withdrawals have been used up I will have to find another cash ISA to transfer to. However their present offering OB5A cash ISA Issue 8 has a dire rate of 3.35%.
I have a gripe about cash ISA information. Very few highlight that they are flexible or non flexible. You often have to search into the product information to be sure it is flexible. Because of the way I use cash ISA`s to fund RS`s I need them to be flexible so that near the end of the tax year I can replenish in full and maximise my ISA balance going into the next tax year.

Nationwide - high rates and exceptional customer service.

Definetely not high rates for their easy access options.

I was pleasantly surprised when I transferred an existing Cash ISA to Monument - I had a question that I couldn't find a definitive answer to online before doing the transfer, so I called expecting a hassle trying to speak to somebody to get an answer, but it was very good experience (helpful, efficient, accurate). Maybe I was lucky. I am a bit wary of these new app-only challenger type financial institutes. Everything has gone smoothly, but only time will tell how long they keep a good interest rate and what it will be like when I come to transfer out.
