It will have incurred interest from the day the purchase was made. Look at the 56 days interest free as a refund that you are no longer entitled to. You'll see this interest on your following statement (after the statement that has the purchase). Pay it now, don't wait for a statement0

My Wife and I have a couple of 'maxed out' Credit Crads. We are trying to sort ourselves out debt wise and would like to know best cards to transfer high sums to them. Any advice please?
Thanks0 -

Most cards will providing they're not in the same group of companies. So avoid BOS and Lloyds0 -

Maxed out => poor credit rating => all of the best 0% BT cards will probably be out of reach. Apply for one by all means but you'll probably get knocked back. You may have to look at sub prime offerings like Capital One0 -

I wouldn't bother renting a credit card, that'll almost certainly be a scam.
Next time you post :spam:, it'd be a good idea to refer to a card issuer rather than a payment processing network too. Reported.0 -
I have just applied for an MBNA card to try and transfer my overdraft to it, plus another credit card balance. I was turned down but my Experian credit score is 'excellent'? Not sure what to do or what my other options are?0

1. stop wasting money on your Experian score. It has no bearing whatsoever on MBNA's decision (as you've just found out)
2. post some more details:
- total credit limit
- details of cards and loans - amounts outstanding
- income
- last house move date - on electoral roll?
- number of credit applications in last 6 months0
