I am not an expert in parking tickets so I didn't understand what you meant. The letter states to do a POPLA appeal. The newbies thread Post 3 is an entire section on a POPLA appeal, so that is why I am asking for clarification. Why is there a whole section on POPLA if there is no independent appeal?

I don't even know what that means - I am genuinely here for help and support.

POPLA is not independent of the BPA and their decisions are worse than ever.

You can see when I last bothered to edit post 3 of the NEWBIES thread which was written many years ago when POPLA was damn good.

Now, ignore it. Nobody cares about POPLA and very few bother to try it. Read some more CEL threads. Relax. Ignore.

Let CEL issue a court claim form. Yes really! That's when it ends. Read some threads.

Civil Enforcement rarely let a claim reach court, they usually discontinue. This is mainly because all their contracts with landowners are actually between sister company Creative Car Parks and the landowner. Not Civil Enforcement.

Unusually there was a hearing at Milton Keynes today for a Civil Enforcement claim, which was dismissed and costs awarded to the Defendant (£92). I am not sure how the case got to a hearing because according to the Defendant, the hearing fee hadn't been paid. Civil Enforcement failed to file a Witness Statement and didn't turn up or send a representative.

My win streak against Civil Enforcement continues ;). The last time I lost a case against them was because the Defendant didn't listen to me.

They have now sent a letter "REMINDER BEFORE FURTHER ACTION" not seen this one before. Is this an official LBA to respond to or is it another scare tactic?
