The pushchair actually cost £200 to replace (they only gave me £70 for this) and then the refund for rhe difference in room costs leaves me with about £33 compensation. I dont feel like thats much for enduring 24 hours of drilling through our walls making me ill, the dangerous room, the shower burning my son and then my son and partner being bitten to pieces by bed bugs. If it genuinely isn't worth pursuing I wont but noone has actually seen my evidence of all these things so dont feel they understand the extent to how much our holiday was ruined

So it sounds like the issue is really that they contend that they are paying a meaningful amount of compensation but that the parties disagree on the value of the broken pushchair (which may not be the same thing as the cost to replace it, if doing so new for old) - do you have any thoughts on why that discrepancy arises?

Not sure what you mean by nobody seeing your evidence - do you mean posters on here or ABTA/Jet2?

The question remains: what sort of figure do you have in mind and how are you calculating it?

You paid £1400 and have been offered compensation of £433 for 2 'lost' days and a buggy (just over one third of your outlay to Jet2). MSE forum members don't know how many days the holiday lasted - so what proportion was 2 days in relation to the whole stay?

The question still remains what amount you are actually claiming and how you have calculated it. It's courteous and helpful to tell MSE those figures if you are seeking advice here.

The name of the hotel would be relevant.
