in Parking tickets, fines & parking

Has this any basis in British Law ? i got a parking ticked from a local authority, thay took me to the traffic enforcement agency, didn't tell me when, didn't tall me where, defendant cannot appear, defendant cannot give evidence, it seems it just a council rubber stamp, but they issue a court judgement that baillifs use as "proof" the fine is owed ?

Any info appreciated

    As this is a council matter, I strongly suggest that you post your query over on the FTLA parking forum website after reading their posting requirements first, they deal with the council ones etc

    Traffic Enforcement Centre. It's not a court, so you wouldn't be appearing. It's just where unpaid tickets go before being passed to bailiffs.

    You must have missed a fair few letters for it to have got to that stage.
