Water sure & United utitlies
Ive been trying to apply for watersure for just medical reasons, I have my GP letter, which specifically states my condition and the need for extra water daily
UUnited Utilities keep telling me to fill out an affordability check, which is very intrusive wanting account numbers of all family members bank accounts, debts Credit cards etc for all household members.
I literally dont want to do this and neither do my family, ive spoken again to uu rhis morning they have said they cant help unless I fill this form as they are regulated.
Google says I dont have to and that the watetsure is a government cap.
Any advice would be really helpful.

Welcome to the forum.
Google says I dont have to and that the watetsure is a government cap.
I wouldn't put any faith in what Google is telling you. Here's UU's own page about Watersure:
From that page:
It’s a scheme for customers with a water meter who need to use lots of water, but might struggle to afford it.
So it's not open to everyone, and there's going to be an affordability test.
The eligibility criteria are here:
These state the customer must:
Complete an affordability assessment so we can make sure you are receiving the lowest possible bill
If you refuse to complete the assessment, you won't be able to join the scheme.
