I hate Heathrow Terminal 3

Could chance it and go to T5 if the security queues at T3 are short.

You're not going to get airside in T5 if your flight is leaving from T3… some airports are relaxed about which terminal you enter via but not Heathrow.

The only way to do it would be to change your flight to an airline that leaves from one of your preferred terminals

Think that @ThorOdinson is suggesting that if you check that the security queues in T3 are not overloaded you can nip next door (?) to T5 for the traditional 5am gallon of lager at 'Spoons landside before popping back to T3 to continue your boarding experience.

But spoons is airside in T5 so you would need to go through security and they won't allow you through security if you have no reason to be airside in T5. If you managed to get there you would get the airside shuttle bus thats designed for transfers but the boarding card for T3 would get you on it.

I'm actually quite grateful that I have little need to know the locations of the various Wetherspoons at Heathrow Airport (or indeed anywhere else).

I am similar to the other poster, dont like the owner, and personally wouldnt be the first place I choose to go but they are reasonably priced and can serve a purpose. There is a Spoons, another pub and our office all opening onto the same sunny court yard, For the same beer Spoons is £5.50 and the other is £7.50, once your sat in the court yard no one can see which of the two pubs you bought it from (though the glass collectors do have the occasional argument over who's glasses are who's. Obv if you have a preference for a particular beer that may drive your choice.
