Anyone use GMX email?

Well, I joined GMX a year ago and there have been continual problems with logging in… and for no obvious reason. One day it will let you, the next it won't… using exactly the same details.

I'm beginning to tire of it. 'Customer service' is a total joke… GMX don't employ human beings - you just get automated messages. Why should I put up with it?

I'm looking for a better, simpler and trouble-free system. A few people have suggested Proton. Any opinions?

A year? Any email system giving me that grief wouldn't have seen a week.

Are you using any other email service? Might be something underlying your setup that's causing a problem.

Proton Mail is absolutely fine, albeit I don't use it daily. Clean, unfussy interface in their app and browser.

Not had any of those problems in a couple of decades using GMX…

I add that I access GMX through my browser, not the app. I don't if this makes a difference or why it should.

Oh, and having done some research I find I am very far from alone in having these problems.

Well I have used GMX for longer than I can remember, but I have never used it through a browser, however using Thunderbird on pc , gmail on my Android phone and mail on iPad all concurrently and have no problems whatsoever. Browsers do tend to get messed with on a regular basis, add in Extensions and you will probably get woe.
