in Parking tickets, fines & parking

Good afternoon everyone

this morning i have received a claim form from Northampton county court it is dated 23 June 2026, regarding a unpaid parking fine in a private parking space owned by Civil Enforcement Limited

the problem i have the violation date was 5th june 2023 nearly 3 years ago and the said vehicle is on a fleet insurance and i dont have a clue who the driver was at that time.

can anyone tell me how i should respond to the court please

    Preliminary corrections

    Definitely wasn't a fine, just an invoice from a private parking company

    The land definitely wasn't and isn't owned by CEL

    There is no court involved yet, just the CNBC in Northampton

    Login to MCOL via your government gateway account and complete the AOS online stage ASAP, as explained in the 8 steps in the defence template thread in announcements near the top of the forum by coupon mad

    Post a redacted picture of the POC from the lower left of the claim form below after hiding the VRM details first

    Breach not pleaded and I assume that its a CEL in-house claim. ?

    Get the AOS stage completed on MCOL ASAP

    Then use the 10 paragraph Chan and Akande defence template in announcements near the top of the forum, in the first 2 posts in the defence template thread, see todays screenshot below to see where the announcements are

    Read my last reply above, copy and paste your defence template into the defence box on MCOL into the 122 lines, save it, and submit it

    Then Follow the 8 steps

    sorry my mistake i should have read the comment before replying

    so i copy and paste the whole wording in the 10 paragraphs and amend where needed to be specific to me correct? and i do that today correct?

    No changes to the Chan and Akande paragraph, apart from do not include the banned character " in your copy and paste , its usually at the end of the special paragraph 3

    No changes to the other 9 paragraphs, no additions, no stories, nothing personal, its not about you, nothing else

    Can be done today, or anytime this month if the AOS has been completed first
