Telecommunications (Fixed-term Contracts) Bill

As stated , BT , EE , and Plusnet (and possibly many others ) offer 12 month contracts, the link supplied is common for many comparison companies , not an exhaustive list of every option available , and more often than not the reason comparison sites ‘feature’ certain companies and the order they are presented isn’t necessarily altruistic , but because the company get some sort of a kick back from the company that gets business via that comparison site , the cynic (and its wise to be cynical) the bigger the kick back the more prominently they are featured and similarly , no kick back , no entry at all into that list , search who owns comparison sites and what their owners are worth , clearly it’s a lucrative business to be in .

One potential consequence of this becoming law would be a return to front loading with connection fees to cover the startup cost that the ISP has to pay the wholesale provider, just as are found on 30 day minimum term contracts. You may or may not consider that a good thing.
