ISA transfer from Virgin Money to another provider
Good morning
I have requested a transfer of my Virgin Money ISA to another ISA provider on two separate occasions and each time it has been rejected.
I have called them but not getting anywhere. Initially they claimed nothing received but when I escalated this to a complaint, they said incorrect information was supplied without advising which information was incorrect. I am 100 % certain that I provided the correct information and I have pdf copy of the request.

You may have provided the correct information, but did the receiving scheme provide the correct information?
Virgin Money can be a bit of a pain because it has multiple units which operate independently of each other. So if the request goes to the wrong Virgin Money, the transfer will fail.
What have the receiving schemes said, as it is they who control the process? -
- They submit the request for transfer.
- They chase it up.
- They get the message of what's needed, or what's missing, or what's wrong.

Did you use the correct information?

I recently transferred an ISA from Virgin to
Coventry Building Society. In completing the online transfer request at
Coventry the list of transferees had several possibilities for Virgin
depending on the sort code of the account. This obviously gets round the
problem with Virgin sort codes1
