Thank you dizzydonkey and Fayolle 😘
I spent a couple of hours sat with H in her summer house drinking coffee and chatting. Left the world behind for a while. Exactly what I needed.

Round you take care of yourself, I am the worst for pretending it's all fine, even when it's not. And yes make sure you get some advice if you feel that you are not recovering as you should xx
Steady day here, I seem to be having 2 days where I feel okay then one where I feel exhausted, headachy and rubbish. I am 99% sure this is hormones so I am just keeping notes for when I see the Menopause Nurse at the end of the month.
I have flown a little, done some weeding, and now I am going to get a shower as we are meeting up with friends for a drink.
Hope Saturday has been kind to you all.

@roundtuit Mahoooosive squish coming your way!!
I am always reminding others to give themselves a break, yet very rarely give myself the same grace 🫣 & am the same when it comes to being ill.. don’t often realise till it’s dire/struggle to accept that I need to stop 😬🫣
So please be kind to yourself, do what you feel you can/want to and b*lls to the rest for now! Also please make sure you let your dr know that you’re not feeling great (even if you leave a msg with reception/via online) as well as your consultant.. Ooh maybe ask for a B12/ Vit D check too 😉
As for your car.. I’m sure there will be a local company that could assist to touch up/buff out the oops..

Thank you my lovelies 😘
I did diddly squat for the rest of yesterday - read more of my book and watched back to back Midsomer Murders.
I slept well. Dreamed I'd lost my briefcase at school. Odd as I never had a briefcase I always had a satchel 🤔. But sort of relevant as, in my dream briefcases's absence, I was trying to carry everything and 1 I kept dropping things and 2 I was picking up and carrying other people's stuff instead of my own. Hmmmmm. Pause for thought.
Today I'm up, made my bed, taken my meds, turned over the daily calendars, completed the nyt puzzles, and made a brew. Plan for today is to plod slowly through the Saturdailies and Sundailies, and watch the British F1 Grand Prix this afti, with lots of Sassy time in the mix.
Another brew and a slice toast first methinks.
Love to all 😘

Sounds like a good plan Round.
So far today I have done dailies, walked Poppet and watered garden. Need to prep soon for community event this afternoon.Spend less now, work less later.5 -
I put out fresh towels and tea towels. I've showered, washed my hair, shaved, moisturised and got dressed in all clean clothes. All worn clothes were deposited in the laundry hamper which was brought downstairs. I've sorted the washing into loads and first load is swishing. I've emptied the bins and put fresh bin bags in. I've put out the recycling, fed the birds, and refilled the birdbath and the hedgehog's dish. And I've finished reading my book.
Not a bad start. Coffee time now. Join me?

Midsomer Murders - spooky - I usually have a series on the go that I watch from the beginning. Just started watching Midsomer Murders! Think I've now watched the first four. Sad to see all those great actors who are no longer with us… and lots of googling to see where I recognise some of them from.
I am ploughing through some fairly onerous admin tasks. Pension decision made and and decision submitted; new car stuff filed (that is one thick file pocket). My Powers of Attorney have come so they need activating and filing. Shredding of submitted information so I could get them cheaper because my income is under the threshold at present. Found a folder I can re-use in the filing drawer - the 'insurance' section is no longer needed - I claimed on that policy. So another pile for shredding.
I have washing on the line.
ETA Powers of Attorney have been added to my .GOV.uk account - I have also deleted my mum's from my account and pulled the paperwork out of the file for shredding. Paid off CC balance - and put a reminder in my phone calendar to ensure I remember every month as I pay it off in full and don't wan't to miss a payment now that I no longer receive paper statements.
pats self on back
