Spectacles from Specsavers

What's the weather like where you live?
The OP got the sunglasses in October and noticed the problem in April. There are parts of the UK where people don't need sunglasses much between October and April.

I stopped using Specsavers as they seemed incapable of getting specs to fit firmly and comfortably. Many of the staff are inadequately trained and will just bend the arms a bit and send you on your way. I go to Boots now and have been completely satisfied. The difference in the way the staff handle adjustments is very marked.

But the OP would have used the other pair of ordinary glasses since they got them in October.
Sounds odd that both pairs with probable different usage are troublesome.

My wife went back to SS and chose a different frame when she had similar problem, no charge even after two months. Look for a frame with propper side arme that go round the ears.

Since Oct very wet.
I do not have sun glasses, I have transition lenses.
OP did say " I have returned to the shop as both pairs" Sun glasses were also FREE 🤷♀️

Not wearing them for 7 months after purchase was the purchasers choice. As it's beyond the first 6 months I would expect it to be up to the purchaser to prove a manufacturing fault.

We know they don't fit properly but we don't know exactly why. That matters.
It could be a manufacturing fault but I think that is unlikely. Frames are made so that in competent hands they can be bent and twisted to fit securely and comfortably round an enormous variety of head shapes and sizes, and the OP has paid for that service to be carried out with reasonable care and skill.
I agree the purchaser needs that report, to show whether their claim should be brought for breach of chapter 2 section 9 (Goods to be of satisfactory quality) or breach of chapter 4 section 49 (service to be performed with reasonable care and skill).
I think it's more likely to be a section 49 breach.

I would assume (maybe wrongly) that the OP wore the ordinary glasses as soon as they collected them in October 2025.
Once again, I say:
Sounds odd that both pairs with probable different usage are troublesome.
