For the future, should more than the maximum time be required (or just to cover your back), on the CS desk counter, look for the keypad (which visiting reps use) on which to enter your car’s VRM to get worry-free all-day parking. You’ve got to get to know all the wheezes to avoid these scammers getting at your wallet, because, for sure, they’ll be using every trick in the book to trick you out of your hard-earned. Fight vile with guile!

Sorry @Umkomaas, perhaps my wording was a bit unclear. What I meant was at the time of parking, the wife was unaware that the registration could be given at the CS desk. I appreciate you gave the advise earlier in the thread, after the parking charge had been issued, but I was also confirming that Morrisons had also said the same thing in the cancellation email.
