Does anyone know of a savings provider who'll accept an online cash ISA transfer in from Trading 212

You mean requesting a transfer without using a paper form?

Last time this was asked here (late last year) there was no confirmation that anyone had done this.

I did transfer of Cash ISA from Trading212 to Monument earlier this month - went smoothly from both sides, everything done electronic.Pretty quick - probably 2-3 days. I didn't know that there could be problems.I was just transferring a Cash ISA from prior year, no new money this year.

  • Thanks NoDetail2Small, I've never heard of them but I'll look into it. I want to tranfer my T121 Cash ISA to another provider for a higher interest rate but have been finding it very difficult to find on that accepts transfers in from Trading 121 online.

  • I had not heard of them until I scanned this forum - I moved since my bonus rate on Trading212 had expired and just wanted a higher interest rate (Monument Easy Access Cash ISA is 4.34% AER incl bonus rate for one year, but £10K minimum). It isn't listed on MSE best buys (Chip ISA has similar features, but slightly higher interest). I was impressed with Monument when I called to check something - very efficient.

One of the minor difficulties with the ISA transfer was working out what account number and sort code to enter for the transfer request - for Trading212 it was a bit hard to find.

There are a handful of providers that have a restricted list of providers they'll accept a transfer from. Most can accept a transfer instruction online, even if they then fall back to a paper based process to actually execute the transfer.

  • Thanks for the info NoDetailTooSmall. I've looked into Monument, opened an account and started my ISA transfer in from Trading 212 digitally as Monument allow me to. I'll wait to see how long the transfer takes, if indeed it does.

Trying to move my Cash ISA out of Trading 212 as well, is Monument still good. I'd be happy to just get it out of Trading 212 and then stick to a more traditional provider as the hassle with Trading 212 is really not worth it I think.

Any up to date places that can either do an online transfer or even paper based would be appreciated.

    Thanks
