Latest Aldi shop recorded. Still under£100, 2 weeks in so I am happy with that. We will need a sainsbirys shop soon and maybe this week as I have nectar offers on cathedral city lacto free cheese which we need. Freezer only has 2 shelves full of food left and we will certainly not be having a roast on this weather so the shelf of roasting joints will have to stay a while.

Anyone who has a n*ctar card, buys/eats pulses - Sainsbugs have NP'd (SEL so available to all cardholders), their La1la brand pulses. Red lentils are £1 for 1kg, Green lentils are £1.30 - I think chickpeas were £1.30 too and channa dhal were £1 all 1kg brick packs. I suppose if your Sains stocks either brown lentils or black eyed peas, they would be reduced too (our store is useless on World Foods), as it appears they've taken Morries on with World Food Discounts.

Back from shopping. Uneventful today, and no green boxes in MrL's. I went to Leedles and Sainsbugs. Heaving in both shops.
I did buy my milk from Leedle, they are still charging £1.65 - boo to Sains charging 10p more - unless every.single.penny of that 10p goes to the farmer that supplied the milk.
I used a couple of discount vouchers in L's but I'm going to have to go to another branch as they were all out of the bread I buy. I also didn't get red onions (have a discount), and dijon mustard.
In total my food shop came to £48.90 today (missing some items tho), my bulk purchases were £4.60 and 85p non-food (TV guide).
Off to update my siggie figgies.

M&S mostly gf items £15.92. Pet shop £9. Aldi £18.66. Tesco £54.07. Sains 42.43 Costco £65.85 (food). mostly on bulk type buys including juice, chicken, crisps for lunches/picnics & 3lb of almond flour there were also some bits picked up from a Greggs outlet & a couple of top up items purchased I dont have receipts for estimated £20 total £225.97
Really tried to keep the spends down and mostly stuck to the list but still came in over budget this week. That said the Costco trip wasn’t actually planned so guessing the totals not quite as bad as it seems. £506.94/£800
this year do something that scares you for courage is not the absence of fear just the knowledge that some things are worth the risk7 -
just had my Ocado delivery, usual items, loads of fresh fruit, veg and fungi. Decided to buy some laundry liquid, don’t want to run out, but may not use until August. Extra tins of b beans, loads of salad stuff, quiche’s to serve while we are at D.S 1’s, to the D.B and S in law when they visit us whilst we are 🐈⬛🐶 and house sitting. Ham, bbq chicken wings as they didn’t have drumsticks, frozen berries, cheese, mayo, Greek yogurt’s, 2 x bread ( a rare purchase) milk, washing up gloves, eggs, margarine and corned beef which might be a hash, depends how hot it is. Looks like it might be cooler in Devon by the coast🤞
Total spent £81.78, total so far £196.67, which would be great as near the £200 budget.
However we are having Sunday lunch out and a meal on the way home which G.C will have to contribute to, oh well, apart from that shouldn’t spend too much more, ah yes the following week meal out and back on our relly visit🤭
Think the rails might have come off this month, will have to try and get near it in August.

First big shop £25.94 spent.
£15.01 in F/F and the remainder in @ldi.
Tbh not that impressed with FF and probably wouldn't bother to go all that way again, but at least I know now. I got frozen rhubarb, Mango and blueberries, two boxes of Moving Mountains vegan chicken burgers ( normally dear unless on offer), two boxes of Jamaican patties and some apple gyozas, a massive bag of onion rings and a kg of macaroni pasta. I think that was it!
I'd forgotten Flora buttery in Ald!, so ran back in. Wish I hadn't. It's shot up from £1.99 to £2.15. I could have got it in Tesco or Sainsbury's cheaper, but didn't have the energy as I'd been out all day. What with buses and diversions.I did however save on some YS strawberries which were 75%off and not disintegrating. Also they've finally got soya yoghurt back in, which has been missing for months. So that's saved me a few Bob aswell.
Some of the things are for next week's shopping, from the 20th. So, not too shabby overall.
I will update signature soon.

I’ve done a huge shop at my favourite community fridge, spending just the £1 requested donation for so much food!
4 boneless duck breasts, M&S outdoor bred pork sausages, spiced lamb filled pastry things, padron peppers, strawberries, blackberries, apricots, melon, Greek yogurt, bread, eggs, butter, full fat milk (which I use to make my kefir), tomatoes, cucumber, mixed salad leaves, 2 little gem lettuces, fresh potted basil, a Pret salad with chicken, beetroot and a spicy vinaigrette dressing, celery, potatoes, onions, carrots, a big bag of spinach, 4 portobello mushrooms, stir fry mix, baby corn, tenderstem broccoli, green beans, courgettes, fennel, avocados, a small swede, bananas, easy peelers, red grapes, rhubarb, pears, a bag of basmati rice, a large pack of dried noodles, 1 pint of Waitrose beef stock and a lovely M&S bouquet of white roses ……. phew!I’ve found room in the freezer for the duck, sausages, beef stock and lamb pastries, I’ve had the Pret salad and a couple of apricots for dinner, and I will menu plan how to get the best out of everything else later tonight.
July total so far is £25.36/£150
