Hey all, hoping you can come to my rescue once again!
I am suffering (big sigh please) as one of my wisdom teeth is coming through, having gone through this twice before (i'm sure people know what i mean) and having to have them taken out I know the next few weeks are going to be sore. I usually load up on bongela type stuff for a little relife but this time (thanks to mse) thought I wonder if there is a cheap/free
alternative?
any ideas?

Hi, I always have a bottle of clove oil handy. It tastes interesting but works really well and none of the initial 'sting' I get with bonjela. My hubby just had extraction which went wrong and the clove oil sorted him out. We had some cloves in the cupboard which he sucked until I got the oil. We went to Boots and they wanted over £3 for a bottle but our local independant chemist had it for £1.39 ish. Good luck, hope the tooth comes through ok.0

Clove oil is fab for toothache. Or a cotton wool ball soaked in whiskey and placed on the sore bit might help. If you dont have whiskey, maybe try vodka or something equally strong with alcohol as I think it will numb the pain a bit.

Hi 160, good to see you :hello:
I've got toothache this morning (went to the dentist yesterday) and I love your tip, gives me an excuse to open that pack of ginger biscuits and eat the whole pack dunked in my tea :rotfl:
