PC and laptop - speaker facility?

Is it the audio part I'm supposed to look at? Says 30mins to download even though it's broadband

If you find out the brand and model of the pc and laptop, then you should be able to download the original drivers for the sound cards, from the manufacturers website. The model code should be on the back of the PC and on the bottom of the laptop.
Another thing to check might be the 'Add New Hardware' button in the control panel. Just follow the wizard and select 'Yes, I have already connected the hardware' or something along those lines. Then you might be able to see the name of the sound card.0
