Plum LISA 5.65% rate for LISA transfers in or not?
I for the life of me cannot find out whether that 5.65% rate is for LISA transfers in or for opening a new LISA. The MSE table says transfers in, but maybe i am wrong here and its the lower 4.01% rate i'll get? Seems like a cracking deal that rate as my moneybox has come to an end :(
The website small print says:
*The total 5.65% AER (variable) includes a Plum bonus of 2.54% AER
(variable) if you meet all eligibility conditions for the full 12
months. After 12 months, the rate will be 3.11% AER (variable). The
transfer-in rate is 4.01% AER (variable). This is the rate from
16/06/26. Interest on our Lifetime ISA varies. ISA rules and T&Cs
apply.
Does anyone know the answer?

Surely there isn't much room for ambiguity in "The transfer-in rate is 4.01% AER (variable)"?
If there's a discrepancy between what MSE and an actual provider publishes, always believe the latter…
