Getting to provide Eon readings on statements
Comments

Then @Brie go here: , sign up, download your half-hourly data and see if that matches what Eon is billing you for. You can also add the totals on to your last own meter reading and check that these match your current meter reading. If you make these checks then I really don't see anything much to worry about and I don't think you should worry either.

just need to figure out how to download the data…… but thanks for the reassurance and all the helpful responses from everyone.

Once you are registered and Glowmarkt have had time to fetch your data (which might well take several days), go here , select 30 minute data granularity then click the Download data button.

No exit fees on Smart Saver Tariff and easy to change should a cheaper version be launched as it was for some of us on Friday.

fyi - what I consider to be the final and sensible response from Eon. So I consider this case closed.
Firstly, I apologise for any frustration caused by our previous
correspondence. I can confirm that a complaint has now been opened regarding
this matter.Having reviewed your previous messages, I understand that you are querying
why you are unable to view your actual electricity meter readings on your
billing statement and/or on your account/APP. Please correct me if I have
misunderstood. To clarify, the reason your electricity meter readings do not appear on your
statements has been explained before. However, I have checked your E.ON Next
Online Portal and can see that you are able to view your gas meter readings but
not your electricity meter readings. This is due to the tariff you are on. The feature to view electricity meter
readings has been disabled for your electricity tariff, which is why you can
see your gas readings but not electricity.I can confirm that your smart electricity meter is communicating with us, as
it must be for us to pull your half-hourly read data. However, your actual
meter readings are not pulled each month because of the tariff you are on. On a
standard tariff, these readings would be pulled monthly and visible to you.To be clear, I have manually pulled a smart meter reading for your
electricity meter dated 21st June, which was 1459.1.As a resolution, I will raise this with the delegated department and provide
feedback about potentially amending this feature in the future. This would
allow customers on half-hourly billed tariffs to view their meter readings
regardless of tariff restrictions.I completely understand your frustration, and I hope this helps clarify the
situation. In the meantime, if you ever require an actual meter reading, please
contact us and request one. We can quickly pull a reading from your meter for
you.If you need meter readings for specific dates, we can also provide these, as
long as they are available on the system or can be pulled for that date. Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with regarding
this matter.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. If you need any help on these boards, do let me know.
