Parking firm iPark at Gatwick 'left holidaymakers stranded' /// SCAMMERS

Used to live close to the City. Bunch of kids made some signs "All Day Parking £10" and stuck them up on a bit of derelict land. Was full inside an hour.
Isn't this the same scam only with websites rather than bits of laminated A3?

"Nice dog - can he put out fires?"

Yes, the Website fails to disclose "Compare your parking" registration number and place of registration, both of which are offences.
However, the Privacy Policy page tells us that the Data Controller & Contact Details are:-
Compare Travel Services Ltd
Trading as: Compare Your Parking
Registered Office: Loakes Place, 30 High Street, High Wycombe, England, HP11 2AG
The last set of accounts filed for Compare Travel Services Ltd were for the year ended 28th February 2025 when it had net assets of only £109 and just 1 employee, (probably the sole Director).

How much did you pay in the 1st place & who was the debit to on the statement.
Unless the debit is to ipark & over £100, you have no debitor creditor link, so no S75
It would be a chargeback for non receipt of services. So you would just get back what you paid in the 1st place.

You only have to look at the Trustpilot reviews of ipark to see why you sould steer well clear 275 reviews not one positive:
https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.iparkgatwick.co.uk
BBC report:
Once again no actual address listed on their website and the T&C's contain these red flags to how they operate (dodgy in my view).
4.14 Our drivers do not consent to being filmed. Therefore, dash cams may be disconnected
5.10 Unless proved otherwise, minor claims, (those below £750) may not be accepted
6.2 During certain busy periods or lengthy periods of
stay, your car may be parked in one of our larger compounds which could
be up to 15 miles (one way), depending on the drop off terminal and
during certain periods we might park the vehicle in a public facility.6.4 While our overflow carpark parks have a hard
standing surface, it is important to note that some of our car parks
lack the necessary planning permission for airport parking.Their registered office is a postal drop in Old Gloucester St WC1 it's actually British Monomarks Ltd an address where thousands of businesses are registered to anonymise their actual addresses.
I certainly wouldn't leave my car with them, I am sorry you have been conned I will bet Ipark will now cease to exist and will morph in to another guise!
