Online via the Compare Your parking

No worries, I meant trade body

Yes and I paid a very expensive price to exit on my return. 1st time ever (and last) I have parked by Meet & Greet as I had quite a few people in car travelling with me..

So, is iPark still showing as an AOS operator where I said to look? That'll tell you which trade body.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Many ways to pay online, this could be:

bank transfer , via account number/sort code

paypal or other intermediary payment service

    bitcoin, or other crypto currency

    debit card

    credit card

only credit card gives a decent level of protection, debit cards can vary, and the rest is taking your chances.

the next question is did you pay compare your parking, or are they just a referal site?

This is another review from The Guardian about Compare Your Parking I found online…

Compare Your Parking is the trading name of Compare Travel Services Ltd, whose director was previously linked to a meet-and-greet service called Wizpark, which attracted some critical reviews from customers on social media. The company did not respond to our requests for a comment.

You could fill in their contact form and see if they respond.

Would a Section 75 claim work in this case to at least get the money you paid to them, back?

The problem is that these comparison sites have popped up everywhere they morph into another one when they get bad reviews and are just sites that pull together any old company with little or no checks on them at all.

People of course are looking for a good deal but get sucked in with these sites with no back up checks at all.

I have failed to find Compare Your Parking registered at Companies House there is no CH number on their website, they do not display their contact address either, all red flags.

    Their terms and conditions state:

Reviews collected on our platform may be rated from one (1) to five (5)
    stars.
Only reviews rated three (3) to five (5) stars may be displayed publicly
on our website. Reviews rated one (1) or two (2) stars will not be
    published.

Service-related reviews posted on our own review profiles (such as Trustpilot or Google)…….We may request removal or correction of reviews posted in error to ensure compliance with Advertising Standards Authority.

All very dodgy and their Trustpilot reviews are terrible!

Another red flag is this which I don't think is fair or right, they are taking your money but:

….any claim should be brought against that service provider, and not
Compare Your Parking, which acts only as a booking intermediary

I suspect if you paid Compare Your Parking they are who you have the commercial contract with if you have not directly paid the service provider.

Far better to use a reputable company like Holiday Extras but I can't see this ending well, I hope I am wrong.
