Fake water debt

Im hoping someone can give me an idea of what to do!

Last year I applied for a disability discount with southern water. The agreed.

Because of the change they closed the account and set up a new one.

However they then added the discount to my old account as debt.

I have proven I have paid all bills via bank statements and online account. And they also admitted the fault is on them. This was via phone and one WhatsApp message.

As a sorry to my they paid the remaining of 24/25 bill.

Since then I have received debt letters every 2/3 months. The customer service isn't great as they don't seem look at the account.

I have escalated this twice to the highest it can go. I went to CCW for help but Southern water refuse to close the case so CCW can't help. As they say it with the OT department. (For the past year)

I went to WATRS but they said they don't deal with waters bills anymore and neither does OFWAT.

This has been so stressful.

Im due another debt letter in July.

I have now told them to take me to court as I can prove the debt is fake.

Any other avenue I can explore I would appreciate.

Have you tried getting Citizen's Advice to help? If you have a disability is there a support group for your disability that might be able to assist??
