Hustling My Way to Debt Freedom. - Take 2

Hi, I'm a semi-regular who has created a new account as the thread I started this morning on my old account got locked and I didn't appreciate that. So here's take two on my new account.

Hi everyone

I'm back again, still trying to clear the debts. I won't go into a long explanation as to where I've been (no excuses - I've just been rubbish at coming on here), but I'm just so sick of being in debt, I have to get a grip on it.

Got to hustle my way out of it, any way I can (legally of course!!). The plan? Take one debt and make a payment off it everyday until it's gone - rinse and repeat until there are no debts left. Might take me a year (highly unlikely unless I come into some money), might take me 10 years (hope not!!), all I know is if I keep on paying my daily payment, and stop running up debts, then they will eventually be gone.

First debt is a Currys account (got a time limit on this one, so have to clear it before I start getting charged interest) - £400 outstanding.

Today's payment - £13.38 from Prolific surveys. New balance - £386.62.

See you tomorrow xx

Good on you, £400 is achievable, esp if you get rid of it before interest starts to make it feel like an endless chase.

Good luck! I like the sound of your challenge - I struggle with a pay a day as I run a zero-based budget so would have to be extra income every day. Will follow with interest!

Thanks 😊 - mine is mainly going to be extra income. I’ve got a few payments incoming, including a lovely Cashback one, which will go straight on the debt. xx
