Online Purchase from Netherlands
I recently purchased a jumper from a company whos address was in Netherlands £45 it cost me. When received the quality was appalling and not as expected. Online it states all returns have to be approved by them first and the cost to return is covered by the buyer. They are haggling with me and firstly offered a 20% refund and requested i return the jumper, i said no and now they have offered a 40% refund and have sent me a return address of china which will cost me £27 to return. I have again refused this offer as the return cost makes it not worth while. Do i have any rights here? It doesnt state on their website that return address is China

What is the name of the seller?
Did they have a returns or refund policy in their T&Cs on the website and if so, what did it say?
How did you pay? Debit card or credit card?
If you send it back it will probably become "lost". Don't waste more money

Take whatever refund they're offering without you having to return the jumper, if they are. You're dealing with an overseas retailer so your consumer rights are those of the retailer's country, which sounds like it's China.
If you were to send the item, there's a strong chance it will never arrive so you will have wasted the postage as well as the original price.
Unfortunately, you have to do your due diligence before purchasing, because it's almost impossible to enforce consumer rights overseas.

Their contact address is a business centre, something like a Regus or WeWork. Space to rent on flexible terms.

One of the better sites for fooling people probably, still a few odd things like a UK telephone number no matter where in the world you go to their site from and expressing their opening hours in GMT given the Netherlands is CET and the UK at the moment is BST
The fact the return address for faulty goods is actually a mail forwarding centre isnt a good sign.
Obviously the biggest red flags are the fact that every single item on sale is almost 50% off and the 12 business days (2.5 weeks) for delivery so clearly not coming within the UK or EU
Seems just over a year ago it was a Spanish language site selling mosquito plug in repeller

Good luck getting anything close to a full refund. My advice, take the partial refund and the lesson and move on.
Beyond the normal checks on grammar, T&Cs, addresses etc, another way I have found of checking these sites is doing a reverse image search on a couple of listings.
Picking some at random from the Dinili site, all the photos are originally from other reputable online stores (there's a dress pictured that's actually from Zara, trousers from Hugo Boss and a jacket from H&M). That's a massive red flag.

Probably not as you'll need to show proof of return
