Cash ISA - transfer from old provider

Help
I recently opened a new fixed rate cash isa and the new provider won’t let me transfer in my last years isa to them.
They say my old provider doesn’t support electronic isa transfers, my old provider said the new provider can initiate the transfer manually on a form and they gave me all the details to pass onto the new provider but they still refuse to do it
Anybody managed to do it manually

Hi @shakirahollybobs - we've split your question into its own thread, and put it in the part of the forum that's for ISA questions

Probably a good idea to actually name the two ISA providers involved.

Providers are not obliged to accept transfers in. Your new provider may not have processes for manual administration in place. Neither Martin Lewis nor anyone else can force them to.
As per above, who are the providers involved, and what is the title of the ISA you want to transfer into?0 -
Thought I wasn’t suppose to name the providers on here!

Yes, there are some ISA providers who only accept transfers-in electronically and some will even have a defined list of providers who they'll accept transfers from. In those cases, this is normally mentioned on their account product pages and they are within their rights to refuse paper transfer forms.
You're fine to name the ISA providers here and doing so may allow others to help you, as there will be many forumites here with experience of using (and transferring between) all the ISA providers.

No problem to name, or fairly criticise, providers on the forum.
What you shouldn’t do is make wild libellous accusations that they are thieves, fraudsters etc. Or say they should be boycotted.
I am sure you would not do that, but occasionally some posters do go a bit OTT.
