With Cash Lifetime ISAs a lot of the traditional banks and building societies decided to not offer the product, as they thought it was too confusing. Skipton and Nottingham were the exceptions, but then didn't make their interest rates that attractive. I think the newer platforms noticed the gap in the market, but did some of them do enough work to ensure they both understand and advertise the terms properly?

The main issue was their unsuitability for use for retirement. It could open the door to mis-selling claims if someone used a cash LISA in preference to a pension when their circumstances made the pension a far better option.
