    I am not up to speed on the electrical uk safety requirements and/or standards…..

    So although I dont know for certain…

    You can bet using Ali Express Joybuy Temu or whoever is the latest chinese megastore saying they are in the uk on ebay…. knowing they are certainly not in the UK…. may mean UK electrical safety standards are sidestepped on certain items .

    I bet going thru the Ebay returns process if needed would be loads of fun as well with overseas chinese sellers.

    They will be as differcult/longwinded as possible so you give up and be highly practised at engineering that.

    Ebay is at fault here because they are complicit in the whole sh t show
