I didn't initially go for this when it first came out a couple of weeks ago, as I felt Revolut would offer something better for new customers further down the line. My decision was justified, as they've now upped it to £25 :)

I opened a current account today and the 5% savings account too, but before putting any money in there, I'd like to know if the payments are instant? (in both directions)

Well done you for getting the better deal. Yes Revolut payments both ways, are pretty much instant. Been with them a good while and can't recall any delays.

    Couple of more questions.

The interest in the savings account gets paid daily right? Also, how quickly and into which account is the bonus paid once you've spent £20? Goes in the current account presumably?

Re the £25 bonus, can the £20 spend be made in one transaction….I see mention of 3 re the previous £20 bonus

    TIA

Never did get the £20. They are still asking for me to get a physical debit card. But that costs a few quid so I would end out of pocket so will put this bank on the back burner!

Chased up using the chat and told like another poster here that the promotion had been cancelled. But then passed onto a real person (I suspect just a more sophisticated AI bot) who told me I had met all the conditions apart from not ordering a physical card which I needed to do as well to qualify. Perhaps foolishly I then ordered the card with £4.99 postage. Told I now qualified. But as of yet still no £20 credit! Or £15 as it would be worth now! Or probably end up £4.99 out of pocket! Seems a lot of these special deals that MSE send you aren’t worth the effort.

I never ordered the physical card just spent the required £20 (I made it in 3 transactions) and received the £20 reward as promised (within a day of qualifying) into my current account with them.

when you logon does it still list ordering a physical card as being part of setting up your account? It did with me and was told that ordering the physical card was one of the conditions for the £20 reward. Though having done that I still haven’t had the £20. So it didn’t work for me!

Decided to go for the £25 cashback via MSE link. Lots of steps to follow. They sent a 6 digit code to my phone but when I went back to app to revolut app to input it they had moved on to next step and I could not go back - lets hope that`s not an issue (identity verified). Passport photo and personal photo went through without a hitch. Chose free standard plan, linked Current account card details to Revolut, deposited £30 ok via the app and went for virtual card linked to google wallet. To complete set up need to order a physical card but £4.99 delivery fee - so won`t bother and hope that is not a problem. Also to complete set up they want me to make 3 payments. Have others got the cashback using one payment? Can you make online payments using a virtual card?
