looks good, is that any better than a flash speed mop with a pack of replaceable mops?

anyone routinely use a carpet cleaner?
i mean let me give an example, you have some 'fun time' in the bedroom and walk to the bathroom, what if some bodily fluid gets on the carpet?
is that something to not worry about? to me with a history of ocd, i'd feel very uncomfortable and want to clean the carpet whether i could see any evidence or not.
if i didnt wash the carpet somehow , then id feel that a standard vacuum cleaner would just mix it all in and transfer it to other rooms.
sorry to go into details but this is how my mind works.

so I will order the above for cleaning the carpet
I also may need a standard vacuum as well, which i hope will be cheaper, can you recommend any? Ideally a cordless as its not a big flat, and ideally a brush that turns off or on depending on floor type,
finally I am happy with the idea of a method spray along with a speed mop with dry wipes.

would this be ok for pre cleaning the carpet and hard floors before using the carpet cleaner and flash speed mop ?

I’d go with a vacuum for the carpet and a mop with minimal water for wood or laminate floors. For tiles, a mop and bucket with a cleaner work great.

I'd be careful using a carpet cleaner too often. We do have one but we tend to do just an annual carpet clean. I expect the chemicals will gradually cause problems. That Amazon upright looks a basic one, hence the price. We paid a lot more but whether it was worth is hard to say. A plug in vac will usually give you more power IME but a cordless can be more handy. We've now progressed to an upstairs vac and a downstairs one. I expect in your flat it will be fine.
