Eurocarparks - first strike 'warning letter'.

Mate of mine has been visiting a local pub which opened in since 2022. His friend works there so its handy for him to call in a catch up. Its in a busy area and has had ANPR since it opened, but he's never had any bother from it. Is never there long so just calls in, has a drink and maybe a sandwich.

Saw him yesterday and he showed me a letter he has received from Eurocarparks advising 'he hasn't followed the rules' and next time it will be a £100 invoice. There is no indication on the letter what 'rules' he has broken. He's asked his friend if there have been any changes - I am wondering if there is a new 'enter your reg' system on the bar,

I don't have the 'rules' to hand or a photo of any signs, but is there a possibility the rules have changed and this is a warning to advise customers to read the new signs?

I would say so, highly likely, plus it probably uses a tablet now on the bar to exempt valid customers vehicles, using their VRM details

easiest way to find out is to ask the pub.

All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have not could of.

More likely that JDW (being ethical) put a clause in the contract.

Maybe for a limited time if the system is either new or troublesome.

Something nobody has mentioned, but under what pretext did they obtain driver details from the DVLA in order to send these letters?
