Life provides increasing challenges as you age and staying warm is only one of them. Improving blood circulation can help as this certainly deteriorates with age, but so does the ability to maintain sustained physical exercises. It is essential to keep the indoor temperature high enough to avoid significant health risks and there is no easy way to escape that need.
Whilst global warming means that the winter challenge is decreasing, there is now a growing threat from more frequent and intense heatwaves. I don't have air conditioning, so my solution is to open all the outside doors at 6am until 9am, then close all the doors, windows, blinds and curtains. As temperatures peak inside in the late afternoon, I use a fan and hardly any clothes to keep cool.
I am still able to drive and the car air conditioning can cope with the current heatwaves, but the thought of having to leave the car for any reason means I avoid going outdoors at all during he heatwave. I upgraded the loft insulation soon after moving in and this not only helps to keep me warm in the winter but also cool in the summer.

It is interesting that near "criminal" enterprises like many energy companies give such a hefty discount for providing them with your DOB, real name and bank details…
Not sure exactly what you're referring to. If you mean they won't give credit to someone who won't identify themselves, they that seems perfectly sensible.
In what way do you think suppliers are near criminal?

Please don't get them started on this. Life's too short.
