Secure messaging is available in the new app

For me, in the new app, clicking the secure messaging link in your screenshot leads to a message saying that secure messaging is only available in the old app or on the web portal.

Ive just opened a Skippy account and bunged £100 into it just to qualify for their monthly prize draw. I'll download their app later and then totally forget about the account until September 2027........unless I hear from them that I've won a monthly prize.

I tried logging into the new Skipton App twice yesterday, but on both times got an error message. Very poor. Luckily I just have a regular saver with them plus a current a/c with £1 in it. Maybe next year when I need to close the RS a/c they'll have worked out a way for me to login successfully.

The Skipton Building Society does not provide current accounts.

I joined this on invite and have regretted it since, because I can no longer access the online service. I find it easier to use online services as the screens are too small and fiddly on the App. I'm not young and don't have a smart phone. I didn't realise when signing up that I'd completely lose access to the online service, I thought it was an upgrade to the original App. I'll probably transfer my funds to another provider very soon that still uses an online service.

I’m using the new app and still have access to the online service. In fact, I transferred payment to a savings account by card online Monday. All ok.

I'm also using the new Skipton app and still have website access despite a message being shown on the login page that says otherwise.
