There wouldn't really be any comeback on you as the receiver of the money if it was agreed via mediation. They might have internal problems if it wasn't done a particular way but that's none of your concern.
Personally, I wouldn't generate an "invoice" for a refund. I don't know how to do it, what it should entail and I shoudn't be expected to do that just to get my money back.0
