Holiday got booked last night 🥳 Also I had a booked phone call with someone about leasing an electric car, so we may finally be in a position to make a decision.

feeling a tad serene as the chiropodist has been and my feet are happy.
on the other hand (foot?) the room of doom is a bit more serious as OH has booked us a holiday in 3 weeks and we need surface space to sort the holiday glad rags.

Three more kitchen drawers emptied and cleaned. and the contents of two already put away with one more to go. That just leaves one more drawer to go.

My passport is arriving today so I'm having to sit downstairs while the cleaner is here as I assume I have to sign for it. The photo is so unflattering as I got it done while I had a migraine! At least I will always know I look better in real life!
I was supposed to go for a walk in the woods today, but it has been pouring on and off with rain.
I started the book group book yesterday, but it seems quite dull. I will probably just watch some TV. I have a reflexology appointment tomorrow and another walk at the weekend so hopefully the weather will improve.

I think passport photos are always unflattering! Mine always has been!

Can I join you please? I've been lurking and reading the posts but now I need some motivation to sort out rubbish from the spare room and the allotment. I really need to do a tip run, which is not my favourite job. My attempts at reversing into the parking slots are worthy of a comedy sketch.

I always look like I have just escaped from prison in my passport or driving licence photos! 🤣
Aims for the rest of summer:
- Recover my shoulder enough that I can sleep again
- Join a gym (carefully!)
- Do more surveys for small OPs
- Find out if my auto OP, from paying the same amount every month, has increased
- Grow and harvest what I can from the garden (I have kind of given up for this year due to my shoulders packing up on me, so anything I do get will be a bonus)
- Finally finish tidying and reorganising my craft room and maybe then, finally, start some crafting / arting 😊
- Visit some new-to-me gardens - am starting well as have a coach trip / guided tours of the Y3o Valley organic garden (I have wanted to go there for yeeeeears) and the Br1stol Botanic gardens booked for the end of this month 😊
- Enjoy our (sort of 2nd honeymoon) trip to France in a week's time … Eeeek, it's getting close! 🫨😊I'll be happy if I get that lot done, along with working full time, feeding myself, looking after Mr KK, wrangling Chloe Cat etc.

My list of OATs is so long that I hesitate to list them all. But at the top of the list is a major declutter of my study, and then getting the garden under control.

I have OATs.
Sell the tent.
Finish my friends bag. Stalled on this sewing badly.
Sort through my shoes. All but a few pairs haven't been worn since 2022. Revisit and see if any can go.
Sort photos and digital photos. Share photos with people in them. Pare down and remove the dross.
And the OATiest of OATs - review and possibly reduce theatre programme colection. Or buy nice containers and accept they are here to stay. I expect this one to be undonoe forever.
I am dragging them into the light, blinking and growling.

Everyone very much welcome, loving hearing all of your aims. I made a list of all the build stuff that still needs to be done and it is quite intimidating. But at least I have a list. A long, long list...
